What is the mission of the program?
Our vision is to attract the highest caliber of volunteers who would give as much as they get from the experience.

What are the benefits of volunteering or interning?
the benefits in becoming involved at WomenVenture are many and varied. Listed below are a few of these benefits:

• Opportunity to build new skills and hone the ones you have
• Committing time to do volunteer work that is important and meaningful
• Increase individual opportunity for learning from others
• Increase individual opportunity for learning through classes and services at WomenVenture (available to volunteers at a reduced fee)

How do I apply?

Will I get paid for the intership?
No, all intership opportunities with WomenVenture are on a volunteer basis. Please check with your educational institution for possible offsite work study grants, but we do not offer paid internships.

Can I obtain credit for the internship?
We will work with your educational institution to establish an internship that will achieve the deliverables for your college credit.

What are the agency's expectations of the volunteer?
That all of our volunteers are committed to WomenVenture's mission and agree to fulfil their time committment, are willing to learn and are dependable. All volunteers are expected to comply with and sign volunteer forms.

What kind of time commitment do I need to give?
We are looking for volunteers and interns who can commit a minimum of one month. The number of hours per week and volunteer days vary per opportunity and your schedule.
